Quality & Documentation

Documentation coordinated to your purchase order and agreed inspection scope.

Documentation scope is coordinated per order against the buyer’s purchase order, quality system, and agreed inspection requirement. Proxis treats documentation as part of the commercial and dispatch workflow — not as marketing filler. The package supplied with each order is the package agreed at quotation stage.

Documentation Provided

The documents below are coordinated as agreed for each order. Scope and applicability depend on the product, material source, and the buyer’s requirement.

EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Certificate

Issued by the material manufacturer's authorised inspection representative, independent of the manufacturing department, confirming conformance and test results for the supplied wire or media, where applicable.

Dimensional Inspection Report

Pre-dispatch verification of diameter, thickness, density, wire diameter, configuration, or other agreed dimensions.

Certificate of Conformity

Proxis-issued, order-specific statement confirming supply against the agreed specification and purchase order basis.

Packing List & Heat Number Traceability

Shipment detail and traceability to originating heat or batch, where supplied by the manufacturer and required by the order.

Workflow

How documentation is coordinated.

At quotation

Documentation scope is proposed and agreed as part of the commercial quotation, based on the buyer's purchase order and quality requirements.

At order confirmation

Required certificates and inspection scope are confirmed against the purchase order before manufacturing release.

Before dispatch

Documents are collated and checked against the agreed scope, alongside any agreed pre-dispatch inspection.

At dispatch

The agreed documentation package is supplied with the shipment.

Issuing Responsibility

Who issues what.

Clear separation of issuing responsibility, so buyers know the origin of each document.

Issued by the material manufacturer

Mill Material Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1) are issued by the material manufacturer and passed through with the order, where applicable.

Issued by Proxis

Certificate of Conformity and inspection records are issued by Proxis under its own letterhead, against the agreed specification and purchase order.

Note on certifications: Documentation scope is coordinated per order. Proxis does not claim ISO 9001 certification or third-party inspection as a standard service. Where these are required by the buyer, they are discussed and coordinated at quotation stage.
